495 - WB: PLANNING MY FINANCIAL FUTURE

How are you financially planning for your future?


I have an Excel program to map out my expenses&savings. I figure how much I am making VS how much I am spending and I see where I can over-indugle some months, and some months when I will need to save a little more. It helps put things into perspective so much easier! It's hard to save when you can't see what it will amount to over a period of time. I am so happy that my boyfriend has done this for me/us. We know what we can spend when we purchase a home in a few months, what toys we'll be able to purchase, and most importantly, when we can afford another dog. ;)

What are y'all doing to help your financial futures?

494 - WB: SCORTCHING DAY

On a scorching day, do you prefer the beach or an air-conditioned movie theater?


ON THE BEACH, HANDS DOWN! I grew up every summer down the shore in Margate City, NJ and wouldn't have it any other way. Being outside with the salty sea air, summer breeze, and wonderful feeling of the ocean mist... Nothing beats that. I can't believe anyone would want to be in an air-conditioned movie theater when the ocean is an option!

492 - WB: CLOCK PUNCHING

What was your first job?


My first job came when I was 16 and I worked at DSW Shoe Warehouse in Marlton, NJ. I started out as a cashier & floor associate and then after about 6 months I was promoted to a Team Leader II where I helped open/close the store, perform returns, close-out registers, etc. Good times, money, & most of all... Good discounts! ;)

488 - WB: LET'S GET PHYSICAL

What are your fitness goals? What is helping or preventing you from accomplishing them?

My fitness goals are to do 20-60 minutes of cardio 6 times a week and weight train 2 times a week to get down to 125LBS from my current weight of 135LBS.

Helping me in my pathway are:
*a wonderful prize (week long beach vacation paid for by my hunny)
*a great friend to work out with on Tuesdays and Thursdays (Erin has joined 24 Hour Fitness)
*a love for being fit & toned
*seeing results rather quickly!

Preventing my from accomplishing my goal:
nothing
I have NO excuses!

It is SO worth it to feel good everyday. Working out makes me sleep great, eat better, and just puts me in an overall great mood.
