This membership-based facility features six state-of-the-art clay tennis courts and offers a variety of programming, including open play, leagues, tournaments, clinics, and both group and private lessons. To reserve a clay court, please contact the Family Recreation Customer Service Desk at 813-506-6600 after 8am. Court reservations are available exclusively to Family Recreation Complex members and may be made up to two days in advance. Proper tennis attire and etiquette are required at all times. Please note that running shoes and cross-trainers are not permitted on the clay courts.

After School Tennis Classes

These lessons are designed to introduce kids to Tennis in a fun group
setting. Beginners will learn the basics to develop skills and strategies
that will make them successful competitors.

Hard Courts
Tennis Center

The Hard-Court Tennis Center is located east of the Omar K. Lightfoot Center on Whiteway Drive. This public facility features six lighted hard courts, restrooms, and lined markings for six pickleball courts. Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis for both tennis and pickleball. Pickleball players must provide their own nets. If others are waiting, please limit play to 90 minutes. All hard courts may be used at no cost.
The tennis center is open from 8am to 9pm Monday through Friday and from 8am to sunset Saturday and Sunday.
Use of this facility is at your own risk. Hours of operation may change with little notice.
