The City of Temple Terrace provides commercial waste collection to all business locations in Temple Terrace. Depending on the size and type of business being serviced, there are four options below:
Option 1
Small businesses that do not generate enough waste to require a dumpster should call Public Works to discuss disposal options.
Option 2
Many larger businesses and multi-family establishments use a compactor. The compactor must be kept in a city-approved enclosure and will not be provided by the city. The city empties compactors either on a schedule or by request. The charges for emptying and returning the container are below.

Option 3
Commercial properties may also elect to use a front-load dumpster. The city provides the dumpster(s) and empties them on a schedule or by request. The dumpster must be kept in a city-approved enclosure. See below for size/service options and monthly charges.

Option 4
Business owners may occasionally need large-scale solid waste disposal. This is generally associated with remodeling, construction, or demolition activities. 20-yard and 30-yard construction roll-off units are available. There is a non-refundable $62.66 delivery/set-up fee.

*Additional fees, including fuel surcharges or increased disposal fees, could be charged for disposing of C & D, Class 3, and non-processable materials as charged by the disposal facility.
** Concrete disposal is at no charge but must be free from contaminants (garbage or other unacceptable material), or disposal fees will be applied. Concrete disposal is only permitted in 20yd roll-off containers and must not be overloaded. Pull charges apply to this service per trip.
Non-Processable Debris
This is construction and demo debris plus any of the following:
- Cardboard and paper (not food stained!)
- Furniture, mattresses, carpeting, plastic buckets, and paint cans (empty)
- Metals, aluminum cans, and soda bottles
- Pallets, packing materials, misc. plastics, sheet plastic, and Styrofoam
- White goods (certified that Freon has been removed)
*Miscellaneous charges include additional requests/deliveries, container reactions, or failed service attempts.
