(News everywhere) I found this Salt Lake Tribune story interesting -- hard to imagine Rehnquist (from the little I previously knew of him) hitchhiking across the U.S. An article from the highly esteemed CourtTV web site which was written about possible replacements for S.D. O'Connor might now again be relevant; they correctly named John Roberts, at any rate.
TU LAW: If anyone needs a PCMCIA wireless card (that's the one for your laptop). I have an extra one, and you can have it. It is a generic brand 802.11b card. I will try to find the driver cd if you ask. Last time I used it, it worked fine, but I upgraded to 802.11g (which is faster). Let me know if you want it. First person to e-mail me may have it.
The idea of this community is to allow anyone associated with Temple's law school (current, former, prospective students, faculty, staff) a friendly place to ask questions, propose ideas, kvetch, chat, etc.
I'm hoping that some of the topics raised on here will include carpooling, good places to eat, (civil) critiques of what happens in class, books for sale, etc. I hope there will be some good advice (or at least interesting stories) passed down from 2nd- and 3rd-year students (or former students), too.
For the moment, I've set it up to be open access -- anyone can read, anyone can post -- and it would be disappointing to have to change that. So try to be nice, and try to be forgiving if people occasionally aren't.
