The new rumor is that they've cast Admiral Cain for season 2 of Battlestar Galactica, she'll be played by Michelle Forbes.
Now, on the one hand I'm thinking that at 38, Michelle Forbes is a little young to be playing an Admiral.
But then a quick check reveals that there have been a few famous real world admirals that age (late thirties, early-to-mid forties), and canonically speaking Cain is supposed to be a real rocketing superstar, career wise. So I suppose it doesn't completely shatter credulity.
The flip side is dude. Michelle fricking Forbes. She's not going to be projecting "lightweight" or "fluffy" when she has to act opposite Edward James Olmos. So that's good. Plus she's, you know, super hot.
