People's biochemical responses to food vary dramatically. Some people respond better to carbohydrates while others feel better when they eat more protein. You need to take your body's needs into perspective. Therefore, the only way to find out whether a particular diet treatment will work for you is to try it for a few weeks.

I'm definately a friend of protein. If I eat much pasta, bread, etc. for lunch, I will fall asleep about 1-2 hours later- regardless of my location or activities. Too many carbs/ lack of protein also gives me migraines. Damn hypoglycemia!
Saturday morning I was driving to visit my parents. I was going
about 70 mph up the highway when I lost a wheel. The whole wheel
flew off my car and rolled down the highway leaving my car to skid to a
stop on the shoulder. Luckily there wasn't too much traffic, and
no one was injured. A nice woman drove me into town to wait for
my dad to come get me and retrieve the car. The point is that we
never know what may happen. I have too much left undone.
I'm not through yet! If I wait until tommorrow to start Couch to
5K, I may never run in a marathon. Daylight may be in short
supply through the winter, but that doesn't mean I can't strength
train, shadow box, do pilates, walk during my lunch break, etc.
You say you have no motivation? What better motivation is the possibility that tommorrow won't come?

I'm spring cleaning my life. There's no better time than today to get started. After all, the sooner you start, the sooner you'll acheive your goal. But simply wanting to get organized won't make it happen. You have to make it happen by choosing to begin and then taking that all-importnat first step.
I'm moving in 15 days. Everything is going to be very hectic. Then, I'll have dial-up. I may get online every couple of weeks when I have to return to campus for seminar, but, good luck everyone.
You can avoid overeating and boost your metabolism by keeping an eye on the clock.
A recent study revealed that eating at regular intervals throughout the day appears to help people eat less and burn more calories than eating at irregular times. Stick to a consistent schedule as much as possible, and be sure to keep nuts, fresh fruit, and whole-wheat crackers on hand to munch on when your usual mealtime gets delayed.
