DRIVE SAFE
WAIT I DIDNT KNOW IASIP S18E1 WAS OUT
evil is like the most classic thing for an uncle to be
yk like as much as it sucked the devastating sudden terrible way my other dog died. um. its kinda better in some ways compared to a long slow prolonged planned death. my dog isnt there yet. but. like really starting to think about end of life stuff now. it feels so hard for me to imagine waking up knowing she would be put down That Day It IS Scheduled Today. versus waking up not knowing what would happen at all and Then he died. :(
i feel very vulnerable rn
actually butches started the stonewall riots and then later the story got rewritten and everyone started claiming that trans women did it. literally every reputable eyewitness said it was a butch (most likely stormé delarverie) being arrested that started the rioting. marsha p johnson said HERSELF that she wasn't even there when the riots started.
the rewriting of the stonewall riots pisses me off to no end because these fuckers literally wrote butch lesbians out of our own history. imagine if people talked about stormé delarverie as much as they talked about marsha p johnson. imagine if butches were recognized for their role in gay history the way that these people talk about STAR.
if ANYBODY has the right to call themselves separatists from the rest of the "community" it is butches/transmasc/gnc lesbians. YOU took credit for OUR forebear's actions. you literally erased us from stonewall's history. fuck off and die.
sorry wait i'm not done being pissed off about this. "black transfems gave you your rights" oh yeah? did they descend down from heaven with my rights in their hands and bestow them upon me? how dare i not be grateful for my saviors?
jesus fucking christ you people know nothing. the VAAAAAST majority of the gay rights movement in the united states was fought by gay men and lesbians who brought legal cases forward, who advocated for the overturning of laws against sodomy, who fought for marriage equality, who fought for the right to adopt. look at all the court cases and tell me how many of them were fought by trans women. baker v nelson, lawrence v texas, US v windsor, obergefell v hodges, PL v EL, pavan v smith, bostock v clayton county. who were they fought by? who was fighting for my rights?
genuinely i think a lot of people have replaced "jesus christ died for your sins" in their vocabulary with "trans women gave you your rights" and get mad when normal gay people are sick of their pseudoreligious bullshit.
