This is gonna be a little bit less detailed than my Yuletide letter about the individual prompts, so apologies! I'm very busy at the moment and take ages to write these things. Thank you so much for joining this exchange!

 

Some tropes I like in Narnia fics and generally:

 

• AU - everyone stays/no one leaves

• time loop

• identity issues (unrelated to sexuality)

• time travel

• canon divergence

• epistolary elements

• truth serum or spells

• nostalgia

• returning home after a long time away

• duty vs desire

• religious and supernatural imagery

•      generally i love worldbuilding details blending fantasy and real world! Narnia is human influenced but to what extent?

 

 

DNW:

 

• gender swap 

• explicit sex scenes, mpreg, a/b/o

• 1st person pov

• quite dark subject material, e.g.  suicide (unless it's an evangelion AU), self harm, rape, dubcon outside of age handwaving. 

• character bashing

• "crack" fic
• incest (i love when the Pevensies are codependent! but i headcanon a few of them as gay so it's not my cup of tea here)
