Well... not exactly.
Apparently no one - literally - was home at CNET last weekend (for our 12.28.2002 show), so previously recorded broadcasts of all the CNET shows were aired. Including our show.
From the previous week.
Now don't get me wrong, it was a pretty good episode, but it would have been nice if we KNEW this was happening ahead of time. As it turns out (and those of you faithful listeners who stuck it out in the chat room already know this), we went ahead and recorded a show anyway, even though nothing was actually aired. And because we just love you all
so goddamn much, this historical (snicker) net-only episode is available on the
Tech Radio Show website archives, thanks chiefly to hard work on Ken's part. It takes an interesting direction here and there compared to our usual broadcasts, but it's geeky and fun nonetheless, so please do check it out.
And if you
really want to show us the love, send an e-mail to
radio@cnet.com and (politely - heh) tell them how much you love the show, how much MORE of Tech Radio you want to hear, and how you're bummed about the whole unexpected replay incident of the 28th. You know we appreciate it.
Hmmm. An interesting way to end a very interesting year.
