These are thesuckers heroes who run the ship in its battle simulations. Contact them if you see anyone approaching dangerously open airlocks, throwing things at other ships for no reason, bringing a tribble on board or being assaulted by Klingons/Romulans.

nobody likes a wanker.
We are considering wank to be "anything that is intentionally inflammatory/insulting/worthy of the grade-school playground."
How to Avoid Wank - For Dummies:
1. Don't comment or become emotionally compromised by the wanker
2. Pull the red alert lever and high tail it to the bridge to tell your superior officers who will alert the Captain and Admiral Mods
3. Go back to being awesome and feel good about stopping wank not bad about what they said.
Repeat after me:
I solemly swear I am up to no wank.

Well, You've signed up to serve the fleet on the noble ship Spock/Uhura, promised not to wank, to report to duty on time, tuck in your shirt, and never to feed a tribble. Congratulations Cadet, you're now an officer.
Your new responsibilities entail:
-joining and watching this community and watchingst_respect to keep on top of things
-LOCKING YOUR POSTS You don't want to broadcast any impossibly embarrassing love poems over the entire federation do you? Lock your posts so the other ships can't see what we're up to!
-Tagging. Once we have tags, you will use them.
-Put large images and fics behind LJ-Cuts please!

If you need immediate assistance keep in mind the commander is also on duty duringalpha shift time zone MST but lives on a higher colder deck called Canada and changes from GMT-7 to GMT-6 with Daylight savings. The First officer does enjoy sleeping, and is preoccupied during most of the day, responses are most likely to be send during the hours of 5-11 pm. Contact ideally should be made on Thursdays.
