As of 1:00pm Pacific Standard time on 04/07/09, I am the only member of this group. So the fact that you are reading this is extremely encouraging for me!
What is Teaching4Christ all about?
I started this community because I couldn’t find one quite like it on LiveJournal. I’m a Sunday School teacher that occasionally runs out of ideas for crafts, lessons, or quick time fillers. I thought it would be great if we had a sort of idea exchange on LiveJournal. Since I noticed the need, I felt God nudging me to provide this sort of community. If nothing else, it will give me a place to store my ideas! And if someone should stumble across them and find them worth while, FANTASTIC!

What denomination of Christian is this group catered to?
Every denomination is welcome here. I am a United Methodist and as such, any ideas I post will likely have a UM slant, but that doesn’t mean I don’t recognize the amazing contribution potential of all other denominations.

So, what are the rules?
Be kind, play nice. Give proper credit (if requested by the author) where credit is due. Anything posted that is not Christ-centered is a no-no. I think we’ll use a voting system (votes cast by members of the community) to determine what should be deleted. That keeps any denominational differences from keeping something that is inherently good, from being deleted.
Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.”
