Hatters gonna hat.

We got some pretty Seacolors yarn suitable for making a nice winter hat. Given that frotz knows how to knit, I do not, and I last did some crocheting about 40 years ago, what should I do? Make a poll, of couse.

One minor caution, depending on how much yarn there is: crochet tends to take up rather more yarn than knitting, so if you have [amount of yarn that is suitable for knitting a hat], you would probably want to augment it to crochet a hat. (Stripes, for instance. Unless you have more than one knit-hat's-worth of yarn.)

That said, I think the knit/crochet decision should be made based on who would enjoy it. So learn to knit if you would enjoy doing that, crochet if you would enjoy picking that back up, ask frotz to knit a hat if he would enjoy doing that, or enjoy the pretty yarn on a shelf if that would maximize enjoyment. As I am neither of the two of you, I don't know which of those would suit best and thus shan't advise further. :)
