I've become addicted to kinkmemes this year after rediscovering my love of writing, but as I think I really enjoy the free-write, no-obligations atmosphere of kinkmemes, I rarely go back and look at the fills once they're up. As a result I don't have any cleaned-up versions of my fills posted (though I should, I should, I know), but a couple of people have asked for a masterlist to find them. Many thanks to insteadofdeath who tracked most of the XMFC stuff down for me, and big thanks to lilalee_ian, wanderingteddy and Maruo who have done translations!

Links go directly to the original prompt. Warnings, where applicable, should be in the subject lines of the fill comments or sometimes in the original prompt (in the case of the Sherlock meme). These were written for kinkmemes and therefore some (though not enough, in hindsight) do contain explicit scenes. In some cases I posted anon, so I guess you'll just have to take my word for it that it was me.

All these pieces are very spur-of-the-moment, often written late at night when I couldn't sleep, and were never meant to be collected together. I truly don't know what horrors they'll reveal about my psyche.

Based on this prompt in the Avengers kinkmeme.

wanderingteddy has also done a Chinese translation of an old Sherlock fill called "Break His Fingers, He Won't Play the Piano No More", and is apparently writing a sequel as well, which makes me go pink and squee even though I can't read it because it'll be in Chinese. You can find the translation here. I admit I haven't even thought about the original fill in at least a year, so the idea that someone is taking charge of it, making it their own and creating something better out of it just leaves me awestruck. I love this aspect of fandom.


P.S. If anybody has an AO3 invite they want to get rid of, I would much appreciate getting a hold of it! I'm working on a 50K fic that I'd rather post on A03 than on lj, and I'm on the waiting list to join the site, but the expected time I'll get an invite extends by a month every time I check it.

A quarter of a century later, the Orbiter 200B is a floating wreck on the edge of the colonised territory. Mycroft Holmes sends a Royal Navy special ops vehicle, the Baker, to the abandoned ship to learn what can be salvaged...

Title: I Say it Runs in the Family

Notes: Almost a year ago now, I wrote a fill for a Sherlock prompt that asked for kid!fic. This is the sequel, and you can find the original here – this sequel will make a lot more sense if you read it first. It’s basically if Sherlock and John had real life problems instead of (or as well as) criminal adventures. After the wonderful Maruo contacted me and translated the fic into Chinsese ( here - requires a login) I ended up writing a sequel for the lovely community over there, which I’ve now cleaned up and am finally posting in English. They also produced the most beautiful fanart ( here by Calita and here by 标准间住户 if you scroll down). This is really a great big thank you to my translator and everyone else in the 221D forums.

Summary: One Christmas in the Holmes-Watson house sees Geoff bring home a lady. John does his best, Sherlock mostly does as he’s told, but Murray fails utterly to be welcoming.

Since Sherlock 2x03 I've been trying to find a prompt into which I could expel all my Reichenbach emotions (which are summed up as: awesomely enjoyable sadness) and ended up working on this one for quite a while. I don't think the plot turned out as cohesive as I wanted, but I had fun writing an airborne angel brawl.

The prompt was "Demon!Jim and angel!John fighting for Sherlock's soul." If you're interested in having a gander, Fill: The Road to Hell is here.
