A/N: So here is my latest chaptered Karomel story. It's all finished and just needs some minor editing, so you don't have to worry about another crazy 8-month WIP like my Kitten!fic. Updates will be every Tuesday. This chapter's a little on the short side because it's mostly just setting up this incredibly AU setting. Future chapters will be longer. Enjoy!

Well I have been crazy busy the past few days, which you can read about under the cut if you have time, but if you have better things to do (which, really, I'm sure just about everybody does) I just wanted to give a heads up that I'll be posting a Karomel oneshot sometime tomorrow. I'm going to start one of my New Year's resolutions early which is that I want to post some writing every Tuesday whether it is a complete oneshot or a part of a larger story. We'll see how long I'll be able to keep it up :)

Whew, alright I think I'm finally starting to get everything normalized since I got back State-side. My apartment wasn't in the best of shape when I got back. I did some short-term rentals for mostly vacationers while I was gone. I don't really know how it worked, Mom handled the details, but I do know the last people here made a mess of my kitchen. Sadly, I don't mean the kind of mess I could fine them for, they just moved everything around and I had to spend all of yesterday morning getting everything back in their proper places.

I'm also in process of getting back to work. When I accepted the research position, I had to take a leave of absence from school for a year and so I was hoping to work full-time. I was originally planning on just increasing my hours at Barnes & Noble when Dad pointed out that if I'm not going to school and I have a perfectly good BA, why not get a real job? So now I'm going to be doing my normal 15-20 hours a week at B&N starting on Sunday while I look for a 'real job' Wish me luck!

One good thing that happened since I got back is I got laid O_O Lol, I feel a little weird putting that online, but whatever, it was kind of important. My crazy high school days aside, I'm not really the type to partake in casual one-night stands, but this last weekend I decide to lower my high moral standards. It was totally justified though! Let's just say, if there's one thing northern Africa is lacking in, it's easy accessibility of gay sex. Seriously, America isn't perfect, but at least I can get off without having to worry about getting my head chopped off. Go USA!

YO!

Howdy everybody! I'm exhausted and really should go to bed, but I wanted to update this as soon as possible after, you know, 5 months of nothing. Also to update my FINISHED kitten!fic XD Geeze, it only took nearly a year.

Actually, it's been finished for a while now, but I haven't been able to post it because I've been without internet for the last 5 months, while I've been in AFRICA!! That's right, little ol' me was approached by one of my professors to help with some field research, mostly really boring data entry, but still an all-expenses-paid trip to Africa. Turns out, they were able to pay for everything because we lived in tents in the middle of nowhere and ate nothing but rice and cornbread also, no internet.

Still after I got over the first couple weeks of withdrawal, it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Speaking as someone who's never traveled outside the US before, hell I've only left Colorado a handful of times, being thrown into that kind of intense situation really makes you grateful for the things you normally take for granted. Also, the gorgeous savannah scenery did wonders for my creative writing. I now have several notebooks filled with half written Karomel stories :) Seriously, I've got everything from cop!Dave to dragqueen!Kurt to doctor!Dave to ghosthunter!Kurt to farmer!Dave to dragonrider!Kurt, just waiting to be typed up. I'm not going to post a story until it's completed though, cause I don't want a repeat of taking 10 months to complete a story, cause that's just not cool :)

OK, I seriously have to go to bed now, but hugs and kisses to you all. I missed a lot of things in Africa, but fandom was definitely in the top 5 :) Keep an eye out for all the pictures I'll be posting over the next couple weeks! ~Sean

Summary: Through strange and bizarre means that the author is too lazy to fully explain, Kurt gets turned into a kitten. Yeah, you read that right.
A/N: *shy wave* Hey, everybody, I’m finally back with another humble chapter. I’ve learned a lot about myself since I’ve started writing this story. Like apparently I’m one of those authors who do a couple chapters and get loads of awesome support and comments from everybody and even a few friends and then disappears off the face of the planet when faced with writer’s block. Also, it’s a good idea to have your story at least semi-plotted out before you start in order to help prevent said writer’s block. Finally, I’ve learned that if you lose the juice for a story for a while (or, you know, four months!) you can find it again with the proper motivation (like signing up for the kurtofskybang  and getting a really good story idea and realizing that you should probably finish your last story before you start a new one). Anyway, I apologize tremendously for the wait. Here is the new chapter, there will be one more that I hope to have up within the week and then a short, little epilogue. Enjoy!
