Here's a place to post, find and read fan fiction having to do with Tarsus IV. This comm accepts slash or het stories of any pairing(s) or gen stories, but all stories must be properly labeled and rated (see below). Stories can take place anywhere in the Star Trek universes, involving any characters, as long as the events surrounding the massacre on Tarsus IV and/or its impact on one or more of the survivors is some kind of plot point. Discussion of pertinent issues and events, as well as artwork and graphics (if it's got some connection to Tarsus IV), is also permitted.

The massacre on Tarsus IV was first mentioned in the ST: TOS episode "The Conscience of the King."

Personally, your friendly mods are fascinated by the question of how Kirk's experiences on Tarsus IV must have affected him, as well as what exactly happened to him during his sojourn in the ill-fated colony on that planet, and we love fan fiction that explores the topic. We've noticed that there are a lot of people out there in fandom who share this interest and were surprised to find that there was no comm for it. So we created tarsus_iv_fic. :D

Please include the following information in a header at the top of the body of the post:

• The movie(s) or show(s) (such as TOS, STXI, etc) the fic is affiliated with, along with pertinent episodes, if applicable.


• Pairings, if any.


• Major characters.


• Any warnings that should be given for potentially upsetting/triggering/squicky content (character death, sexually explicit content, kinks, mature themes, violent imagery, abuse, noncon, etc.).


• Some kind of rating.


• A disclaimer.

At this time, we have no standard header for this comm, so please just make sure the above information is somehow included.

Things which also might be a good idea to include are a summary, word count, and/or author's note.

Below the header, either link back to your own journal, or put the story under a cut. Links to archives are also acceptible.
