Virginia Wetherell (born 9 May 1943 in Farnham, Surrey[1]), sometimes credited as Virginia Wetherall, played Dyoni in the Doctor Who television story The Daleks.

Outside of Doctor Who, she is best known for her roles in Hammer horror films such as Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde and Demons of the Mind. She also appeared in the film A Clockwork Orange, and was a regular cast member of the television series The Troubleshooters as Julie Serres.

She was married to the film actor Ralph Bates, who died of cancer in 1991, and is the mother by him of actors William Bates and Daisy Bates. Ms. Wetherell currently runs a cancer fund in her husband's name.
