Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Early life[[edit] | [edit source]]

Starll was a general (AUDIO: The Armageddon Chair [+]Loading...["The Armageddon Chair (audio story)"]) who belonged to the 12th Sontaran Death Legion. (AUDIO: The Winner's Tale [+]Loading...["The Winner's Tale (audio story)"])

The Eternity Club[[edit] | [edit source]]

Starll came to be a part of the Eternity Club. He was observing the Magellan Cluster out of interest in the 19th Astrometric Brigade when Bernice Summerfield joined him in the holographic observatory to try to locate the Ascension Pennant for 312. He informed Benny that 312 had once been a solar engineer and warmed to her after she repaired his thermic shower. (AUDIO: The Armageddon Chair [+]Loading...["The Armageddon Chair (audio story)"])

When Grizella led an expedition to the City of Parroon, Starll joined and had to be told by Benny to stop trying to eat one of the pillars. He was attacked by Sister Lost, as were the other men on the expedition, from behind whilst he was on guard at night and was left blind. Benny tended to him with analgesic bandages. (AUDIO: Triumph of the Drahvin [+]Loading...["Triumph of the Drahvin (audio story)"])

Starll was playing with Professor Altazar and his Draconian miniatures when Altazar was affected by the dark rhubarb growing on Derek the Tree, making him repeatedly say "rhubarb". Interpreting his babbling as an insult, Starll urged the Sontaran Empire to declare war on the Draconians and took Altazar some bubble bath to help him relax before the fighting. He too began saying "rhubarb", however, and war was called off when Benny resolved the situation. (AUDIO: Rhubarb [+]Loading...["Rhubarb (audio story)"])

Starll attended the birthday party that Benny held for the Suspension of Geren. He lit the birthday candles and blew them out as Geren was unable to blow, wishing out loud to encounter a Rutan for him to make an omelette out of. Benny informed him that wishes were meant to be kept secret. (AUDIO: The Terrible Shame of a Tree [+]Loading...["The Terrible Shame of a Tree (audio story)"])

The Liturgy's attack[[edit] | [edit source]]

This section's awfully stubby.

Romantically interested in Grizella, Starll gave her a bouquet of grass and joined her in observing the Liturgy of Death's warfleet approaching from the Maxima system. The pair joined Altazar, 312 and Geren in arguing about which member of the club was the Liturgy's target and helped keep the Oldest hidden from Benny to prevent her from handing her over. When the Liturgy arrived, Starll and Altazar met them in reception and Starll attempted to kill their herald, only for them to reform and attack him. Altazar believed him to be dead, (AUDIO: Sanctuary [+]Loading...["Sanctuary (audio story)"]) but he was merely wounded and needed some time to recover. The Conference of War[[edit] | [edit source]]

This section's awfully stubby.

After the Dalek Delegate took over the Eternity Club, (AUDIO: The Lonely Bomb [+]Loading...["The Lonely Bomb (audio story)"]) Starll and Altazar stole a shuttle and fled. Geren saw them, but did not tell anybody for some time so that the Dalek would not find out. (AUDIO: Satrap [+]Loading...["Satrap (audio story)"]) They found Benny and joined her, 312 and the Nurse in attempting to stop the Daleks from forming the alliances that would lead to their Conference of War being held at the club. Personality[[edit] | [edit source]]

Starll was interested in Sontaran history, including the mystery of the 19th Astrometric Brigade. (AUDIO: The Armageddon Chair [+]Loading...["The Armageddon Chair (audio story)"]) He was romantically interested in fellow warrior Grizella. (AUDIO: Sanctuary [+]Loading...["Sanctuary (audio story)"]) Bernice Summerfield taught him to say "no offence" after being offensive, which was very often.
