From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Captain James Munro, also known as Jimmy, was a UNIT officer who served under Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

James Munro (PROSE: The Devil Goblins from Neptune [+]Loading...["The Devil Goblins from Neptune (novel)"]) was assigned to cordon off Oxley Woods after the second fall of Nestene meteorites and was the first to come across the TARDIS and the Third Doctor. When the story leaked to the press, he refused to answer the reporters' questions. He later helped the Doctor defeat the Nestene invasion, during which he interrogated Sam Seeley and was forced by a Nestene duplicate of Major General Scobie to hand over a Nestene meteorite. He was then part of a raid on the Auto Plastics factory that fought a squad of Autons. Captain Munro took the Doctor through the Brigadier's latest report, after which the Doctor decided to work on a device to detect alien life forms. The Brigadier later summoned him and a group of soldiers to Ben Brannon Castle to help deal with the Nelophex. He and the soldiers shot at it ineffectually until it began draining them, neutralising the threat they posed. He received the Doctor's call for assistance during an investigation in Norfolk and sent a platoon after him. He then produced a report on the situation. (AUDIO: Intelligence for War [+]Loading...["Intelligence for War (audio story)"])
