So the idea of a 1920s jazz band doing the heavy metal horn gesture was supposed to be a joke but when I looked it up on Wikipedia to see if there was a better name for it, apparently it used to be used both to ward off the evil eye and to imply you'd fucked somebody's best gal (cuckolds being indicated by horns is a centuries-old meme), and there is a 1920s jazz song called "Throwin' the Horns"
