This is just an LJ Community for those who feel the need to be darker, and those who are interested or concerned.
Anyone who tans is aware that it can cause skin cancer, so please don't come in here beating us with a surgeon general's warning, please.
Whether you do 20 minutes in a tanning bed, or you lie out in the backyard when the weather is nice for an hour or so, this is a community for it. Anything related to tanning is absolutely welcome, whether it's about:
-Your salon
-Your private bed
-How you lie out
-How you rid yourself of tanlines
-Any tanning lotion you use
-Whether or not you use Upgrade beds
-If you work at one
-If you're concerned about tanning
-If you're curious about the reaction to UV that causes tan
-If you believe (or don't believe) that tanning in moderation is perfectly safe
-How long you lie out
-How often you go tan / go lie out.
So yeah, it's a pretty broad-spectrum chat about anything slightly related to tanning. Post as much as you want, and comment even more. This community relies on YOU. It is an open community meaning anyone can join, and anyone can post (so long as they're a member). I'm not too heavy on moderating, I could care less about making sure you censor your swear words or blur out your "un-mentionables" in pictures of tan lines.
