one time i was making potato soup and i needed broth for it but i was out of broth. but in my dog food cabinet there was a carton of chicken broth that i had bought for my dog. now the box did say HUMAN GRADE and the ingredients were just bog standard chicken broth. it did say something about joint health for dogs on there. but the ingredients were normal. i even compared the ingredients list to some normal person broth and they were the same. so i did put dog broth in that soup and it did taste completely normal. but i did use the dog broth.

I have to say this because no one else is, but getting ectopic pregnancy / miscarriage care is not illegal. Anywhere. It’s just not. So if you are suffering from an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage just go to the doctor. If your doctor says “uh I’m not sure if that’s allowed” they are lying and that’s medical malpractice.

If a doctor says "we can't treat you for ectopic pregnancy." Get everyone's names. Then ask "Can you please direct me to the in house counsel's office? Or get him on the phone if he's off-site. Thank you."

That will get people freaking right out.

If not you go to the lawyer's office and ask for the in house counsel to show you the laws and policies that prohibit you receiving care.

Basically everyone is incompetent but they're all terrified of getting sued/fired because of a lawsuit. Throwing around just a little bit of legal knowledge is usually enough to scare them.

Panel 2: She continues looking down, her frown slightly tensing. "What a dumb, frivolous way to spend money," she thinks, "I feel bad."

Panel 3: The convenience store clerk prances up to her, holding up 4 large bags of clothing from that store. He smiles innocently, saying "HEYYYYYYY~ I finally finished checking out! Thanks for waiting."

Panel 6: He turns his head towards her and tilts it with curiosity. "But, what is your name?" he continues.

Panel 7: "Valerie," the sweatshirt girl replies, walking beside him. "'Val' for short. I kinda prefer Val. Yours?"

Panel 8: A more zoomed out view of the two strolling along a pedestrian-only street, with decorative trees, bushes, and store signs in the background and the ground tiled with a mixture of large and small square tiles. The clerk says "ADRIAN, technically, but my friends call me AUDREY. It was originally a mean nickname given to me in high school."

Panel 9: Audrey winks at Valerie cutely and points at his face with a wide smile. "Jokes on them though, I think it's CUTE," he says, "Call me Audrey."

Panel 10: Val smiles back at him guardedly. She says "It is ... nice to meet you, Audrey." Beside her, a small blue imp in a white toga that looks like her pops up representing part of her mind. "Do not trust this moid. Do NOT trust this moid," it warns, "He wants something from you."

Panel 11: Back view of the two walking down the center of the pedestrian street, looking at each other and carrying their shopping bags. Audrey speaks, saying "Val, if you don't mind me asking, what do you like to do? Like, on your free time?"

Panel 12: Val smiles nervously an sweats a bit, replying "I guess I play video games, mostly." The blue Val-imp pops up next to her head, looking her directly in the eyes and saying "AND get mad online."

Panel 13: Audrey holds his fists to his torso in excitement, his eyes sparkling and god-beams shining down from the heavens, as he says "That's so COOL!! Are you like, REALLY GOOD AT GAMES??" Val replies "I'm ... okay at them," looking away. The blue Val-imp also chimes in, adding "and it's not that cool."

Panel 14: Audrey's hand gently pulls Val's with two fingers, the rest committed to holding his many shopping bags. He thinks "SORRY, SORRY, I GOTTA show you this. There's a really cool video game place over here." Val thinks "No ..."

Panel 15: Audrey is leading Val towards an arcade with an open metal shutter and many glowing machines on the inside. A sign beside it says '3 FRAME ARCADE' and his a picture of a guy in a headband throwing a punch between the lettering '3 FRAME' and 'ARCADE'. Val thinks "ANYWHERE but this place".

Panel 16: Val's face is a wide-eyed expression of pure dread, her jaw slack, her form dramatically backlit, as she thinks "They KNOW me here."

It's baffling how the kindest and sweetest characters always attract the most disgusting and despicable fans. Meanwhile, fans of evil characters tend to be the nicest people in the entire fandom.

People who treat fandom as a means of establishing moral clout tend to advertise being fans of the most moral characters. I like good and pure characters. This makes me good and pure. Once I establish I'm one of the good guys, that makes everything I do justified! (Sarcasm)

But you can't show off what a good person you are by reblogging art of Baroness Skullcrusher the Terrible on account of all the skulls of the innocent she crushes. So most of her fans will be normies capable of engaging with fandom in a more well-adjusted way.
