It's been a long time, I know

The short version: my social anxiety/avoidant personality disorder/whatever-the-%#@&-is-wrong-with-me has been getting progressively worse, to the point where even posting to my LJ was something I just couldn't do.

Combine that with a lot of bad memories of being on LJ, and I had to take an extended break.

Am I back for good? Probably not. But I thought I'd post an update just in case anyone still cares. (I'm even setting it public, so that the few people who have me friended, but I haven't friended back, can see that I'm still alive.)

It's been an awful week, but I'm not going to go into that right at the moment. Maybe when I've got a couple of the answers I'm hoping for.

For the record, the one-handed Dvorak keyboard layouts are [fornicating] WEIRD. None of the keys are where I expect them to be.

But I'm already typing faster than I was with the old layout, so go me.
