I wish that was true I wish you were right so I wouldn't have to share a gender with child-centered retards who choose to continue a species that doesn't respect us in the slightest and that was rooted in us being raped, but no, you're wrong, so I have to coexist with all these women who somehow make my extreme foidbrain seem moidbrained next to theirs and who choose to put me down and shoot me down at the slightest mention of disapproval of their collective choices leaving me completely isolated in this world for the crime of not letting men walk all over me

The whole wattpad vs ao3 is kinda funny. I have vague memories of using wattpad as a teen and not liking it. Also users coming to ao3 and reporting fics. I’m shit at reading tags. Somehow I always miss the important ones—the ones that would stop me reading—so too often I’m enjoying a fic when uh oh well now I’ve got to bleach my eyes. I click off and clear my history because I’d rather that not be on my permanent record. This is a me issue though. I’d rather certain topics not be allowed honestly because of a moral stance but ao3 is against all censorship so I know using the site has risk. Moral of the story: Don’t click on stuff you don’t want to read.

It would be cool if ao3 had permanent filters though so I didn’t have to keep manually typing out stuff I don’t agree with to avoid it. Also so I don’t have to safe through every variation of character x reader

agree to all this. i think you can use site skins and stuff to block some things??? not too sure tho bc site skins are like black magic imo

but yeah no i used wattpad for like. a day as a young kid and it was atrocious i hated it. just everything about it is so different. imo ao3 has the best layout and general feel out of all fanfic sites. it’s soooo easy to find stuff and to filter out tags you dont want to see.
