I adore Spiderwick! I got the first book as a prize for wining a Spelling Bee. Ever since then, I've been hooked!

I think the books are better than the movie, although Freddie Highmore did a nice job as Jared and Simon.

The DVD is out!!!!!!! I bought it the day it came out because I'm a super nerd. I got it at Walmart and it came with the video game for free-ish!

My choices were:
Regular dvd $16
Dvd + Game $19
Special Edition $23

I had a fight with myself. I wanted the special edition! But most of the extras suck and I can get the deleted scenes another way. And anyway how fun is the game... and hearing Freddies' voice? But anyway what is up in your Spiderwick lives?

I can't take another fandom that I love going dead at it's prime. Anyone else get the dvd? How about some icons?

i rlly love spiderwick and new so hello =]

First I'd like to apologize for my inspiration. It has just been attacking me and this fandom is less intimidating to enter because I'm one of the only/first people writing slash. SO hopefully soon I'll present this club with something (graphics, icons?) everyone can enjoy! Until then here is another story for the people who enjoy them.

C'mon guys! I find this awesome new fandom with presumably awesome people that inspires me to write after years of nothing. And sadly I get no feedback? I understand the content is a bit taboo but as an avid 'Series of Unfortunate Events' fan a fandom that is rampant with Violet/Klaus(incest). I can easily see siblings taking comfort in each other. If all else fails these people are fake and the story fictional. Comment just to tell me how much I suck or rule at writing in general lol.

I hope to see more content here, icons, stories, whatever! I finally read the books and love Spiderwick even more. So in that spirit heres a new fiction.
