Some of you may better know me as Surreality, Surreality Vortex/SV, Karma, Poe's Angel, or a host of other alternate identities throughout the universe as we currently know it.

Short, redheaded art chick. Eclectic neopagan, sarcastic, ditzy flake. Adjective junkie. Anti-fluff, despite impending bimbo status. Not good with this bio thing.

I pick up new art forms on a whim. It's a compulsion, really, and far from healthy, mandating more art supplies than my house can reasonably hold. Working on fleshing out an original RPG, an adult collector fashion doll, a decent camera rig, an almost-all-purpose design business, and someday, hopefully, my bank account. Despite all of this, I manage to be completely uninteresting. Imagine that.

Oh. And I'm toxic. Yes, you read that right. I'm toxic. I infect people with these terrible things called "ideas" whenever possible -- which is pretty amusing, since I rarely think I have any good ones. I just have ideas, and to know what kind I mean, you need to read the word aloud with the fearful, scorn-filled whisper afforded it by little old ladies circled protectively around their quilting while they listen to a hellfire preacher on the radio. I don't always know where these ideas come from, but I'm more than willing to share them here in gouts of demi-lucid rambling.

If I'm an angel, I'm Poe's Angel, the Angel of the Odd. Quirks of circumstance and coincidence are long-time friends of mine. Sadly, I'm not clockwork, and so far as I know, I don't come with a convenient off switch or restart button.

I'm interested in spirituality more than religion, and believe many roads lead to enlightenment, paradise, and the other goals of various world religions. I also believe the best road for any given individual is just that -- individual -- and no one `solution' or `road' is the correct choice for everyone. I strongly believe "there's something more out there," but I don't give "it" a name, because I don't have to. The most specific term I'll use in serious discussion is simply `The Divine'. I believe in listening to that spark of divinity more than words written by men on a page, even if a claim of divine inspiration is made for those words. I believe in education and mutual understanding above blind fear and intolerance spawned of ignorance. I believe we are constantly learning, if we're lucky, even if those lessons are hard and painful ones. I find most organized religion frightening, fascinating, beautiful, and sad by various degrees, but recognize and respect its place in the lives of many of my fellow humans out there. I believe in questions, understanding, and internal examination above pointing out what's wrong with the world or others -- in fact, I think the latter is often more damaging, considering the methods many adopt to attempt to accomplish it.

...and why am I telling you about myself here? If you want to know about me, read the journal. I like to do my part to avoid being woefully redundant, y'see. (Not that I often succeed.)

INTP - "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. The world exists primarily to be understood. 3.3% of total population.

The art rambling and images generally live over at _shiny_things_ now, because wow was that ever getting spammy. Jewelry business ranting during show season and otherwise is at karmadesign. My game-in-development is up at pantheogenesis, but it's not the sort of thing that's open reading. If you're curious, drop me an email. I also maintain seradus, a community for an adults only spinoff project in MUX, as well as smux_follies, because I can indeed laugh at my own hobbies. I'm a co-mod on shredmode and imnotsorry, so if the above wasn't reason enough to get your dander up...

Characters/staff I actually admit to being in public:
GhostwheelMOO: Spiral/Surreality/Karma (one of the many New Orleans builderwenches), Seraph, Sarieka, Mhairi, Madelaine
CybersphereMOO: Michael_Kalir, Vidi, Regret
Darkmetal: Kam/Kam Tyler/Evanestra, Lethe/Amarante, Zelle
Castle D'Image: Ziavyth
Nightscape: Belladonna/Daedalan/Apolline/Callah, Skarlett, Raphaela, Bastienne
Manifestation: Hong Kong: Poe's Angel (original mutants/kami staffer), Vervaine
Paris: Mona
Denver: Lissa
Akashat: Czynahn
SeradusMUX: Karma (themebitch), Elena
I've been more people over the years, but I've mostly forgotten about it, remember too well to 'fess up, or know absolutely no one else remembers, either.

This sums me up in a nutshell, though. (Edit: Sigh, the comic is no longer there, and yet '404 Not Found' also sums me up rather well, so I'm leaving it be.)

Slowly shifting communities I don't own or have mod responsibilities on, (and adult communities requiring age verification that I don't want to bother a million other mods about), off of this journal account and on to a generic community-reading journal at chandrevyn2. Yes, that is me, not some crazy journal stalker or somesuch.
