Spoilers for Epilogue(even though it’s been 19 years)

Who the heck decided to turn my lean and skinny boy into a muscle man??!! Since I first set my irises on the image of grown-up Terry, I was repulsed. Who decided this green bean teenager should grow up to be beefy????

Like who decided he needed to turn into this!!!???

I know that they probably did this in order to like ShOw HoW SImiLar BruCE ANd TerRY aRe BecauSE tHEy’re fATHer anD SOn, but I ＨＡＴＥ ＩＴ. I refuse to accept that this is what Terry looks like in the future. Where did all the muscles come from??? I expected future Terry to look more like Nightwing. Like cmon, the suit already enhances your strength, learn how to be more acrobatic Terry.

The fireworks are loud and so are the car alarms. Today is the Fourth of July, so I’ll be typing about Revolution. Revolution is the seventh episode of season three and the overall 33rd episode of the Teen Titans series. It is so goofy. “King Moddy the First” brainwashed everyone in the city. The city looks so weird and trippy. For example, the sky is the British Flag. Honestly, just some good fun, especially if you want to see some British butt be kicked. It isn’t as good for the historical facts though. Also… GO STARFIRE!! My girl understands democracy even if she’s an alien who comes from a warrior race that has a single ruler.

Comfort and Joy

I may be like a week late, but it doesn’t matter because Comfort and Joy is an episode for anytime you need a little bit of happiness. I love how wholesome it is. For example, Shayera and John’s little adventure. I love how John and Shayera share their experiences together. They show each other what makes them happy and although they don’t understand why something makes the other person happy, they try to understand and enjoy it together. Also the J’onn and Kent story is so wholesome. Love how this episode established the headcanon that J’onn loves Oreos. Also the fact that Superman believes in Santa and the Kents wrap the presents in lead to hide them is GOLDEN. Oh course the moments between Flash and Ultra Humanite got me really freaking happy. The fact that Ultra Humanite decides to fix the toy just so that the kids can be happy and they actually enjoy it, just hits my heart. The scene at the end where Flash gets Ultra Humanite an aluminum Christmas tree is absolutely heartwarming and I really adore how kind Flash is. I just love this episode so much.

I respect Bruce Timm for all he has done for the DCAU, but sometimes I wish that he didn’t have so much control. I despise the fact that Bruce Wayne x Barbara Gordon is canon. When I see it I feel the need to hurl. Why Bruce Timm? What makes this ship so attractive?

My favorite episode of JLU is obviously Flash and Substance. As you can see in my posts my favorite character is Wally and this episode is a beautiful characterization of him. I love the way that JL and JLU portray him and this specific episode focuses on that portrayal and even expands the world. It’s just such a good episode and Flash’s dynamic with everybody is just absolutely amazing.
