room for rent, reading, berkshire

Hi everyone

If your looking for a place to live (rent) there's a place in 34 Stanhope Rd, RG2 7HN, Reading, Berkshire, near reading uni ideal for students / grads.
The house is not finished yet but will be soon. We (2 girls) are living here so boys are most appreciated but girls feel free to come if you need a room…
It has a big TV, big american style fridge with ice dispenser and all those things. The landlord loves these things… he even asked us what kind of curtains we wanted.
5/6 rooms (3/4 to rent one is really small) 3 bathrooms, one big kitchen, big garden, dinning room and living room. Broadband, etc.
Non smokers only, this is a must or contract will end.

Eglish-Russian grammar research

Hello,

I'm a student of Moscow City Pedagogical University (Russia) and major in English and Cross Cultural Communications. Currently I am conducting a research where I compare some aspects of English and Russian grammar. These are there is a need, it is necessary and we need . The crucial point is whether these constructions can substitute each other in sentences.

It is not time-consuming.  What is needed - is simply to fill the form in the web-page

 http://mgpu2.awardspace.com/

The results of the research will help to better understand the structure of the language.

Thanks a lot.

rooms for rent in Reading

Hi everyone

I'm a 26 year old girl, will be starting my PhD at the Univ. of Reading and I'm looking for a room. want to share a house with other students (not with the landlord).
Does anyone know of any rooms to rent near the univ.? I have a few adresses that I will check but most of them were already taken, so the more the better.

Please if you know anything or anyone just reply. I'll contact again for more details.
Thanks in advance.

looking for some student lovin'?

If you're looking for cheap things to love, you can find them there. There's everything from textbooks and gowns to dvds, bikes, clothes, fridges, bottle openers, and little leprechauns. Well maybe not that last one.

But the main point is that it's run by students for students. Cos being skint sucks.

Accomodation Fears

I start at Reading Uni in October, I was going to be sharing a place with my boyfriend and a good friend, but our friend has been delaying stuff continually, and we're worried she doesn't want to share with us.
Thanks to the delays I'm now too late to apply for university accomodation.

So.. I'm looking at private landlord student housing.

All these places seem pretty cheap - £55-£70 a week or so, which is within our budget, but they're all 4 bedroom houses or more and they say that the room price is based on getting a full house.

Is it my responsibility to find other people to share the house with or do these landlords rent out individual rooms and then hope they can fill the other rooms?
We can't be lumbered with a massive house and just us in it, we couldn't afford it!

I'm really clueless in this area, and I'm really worried about it all.
Plus, I'm disabled and I'm worried about sharing with people that don't know me and don't understand my disability.

It's all got a bit scary!

And I REALLY want my cat with us! Is there going to be ANY way I can share with people I don't know and still have my cat?
How do I know that random students I might share with aren't crazy axe murderers??
