Vegetables were a type of food grown on a plant. They could be eaten with other types of food, such as meat[2] and noodles.[3] Vegetables could also be used as part of other dishes, like sandwiches[5] and sauce. They contained proteins.[3] Types of vegetable included root vegetables[2] and sea vegetables.[4] Young Anakin Skywalker was known to pick the vegetables out of his meals.[6]
