Togorians were a sentient species of large, feline beings with digitigrade feet. Their bodies were covered in short, thick fur that could be brown, white, orange or red with stripes, and their eyes could be yellow or green with a yellow hue. Togorians had retractable claws, and were a proud race. They moved with grace and spoke with a sibilant voice. H'sishi, owner of the Amon Yinchom Dojo, was a female Togorian.[1] The male Jedi Knight Jak'zin, who encountered Count Dooku on Sullust, was a Togorian.[2]

- ↑ The Essential Atlas and Galactic Cartography: Official Discussion (post by jasonfry) on the Jedi Council Forums' Literature board (December 11, 2007): "I wouldn't get your hopes up re alien homeworlds, beyond simple stuff like the Planetnamian species getting a Planetnamia on the map or things Dan and I can account for with a relatively quick reference." (backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats the Togoria system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the Togorian species.
