Smoked Kaadu Ribs was a dish that originated on the planet Naboo, and consisted of tender kaadu meat served with a smoky, sticky sauce,[1] cabbage slaw, and a berry muffin. It was suitable for consumption by humans.[2]
In 9 ABY,[5] the Mandalorian warrior Din Djarin traveled to the desert world Lafete as he sought help from fellow Mandalorians Bo-Katan Kryze and Koska Reeves to rescue his foundling, Grogu. He located them at a diner that served kaadu ribs.[3]
Smoked Kaadu Ribs were served at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Black Spire Outpost on Batuu[2] in 34 ABY.[6]
Behind the scenes
This dish was found in the real world Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo restaurant at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, a themed attraction that opened in 2019.[7] It consisted of pork ribs with cabbage slaw and a blueberry corn muffin. Since its debut, the dish has been renamed to Smoked Kaadu Pork Ribs.[8]
On May 1, 2026, the dish was no longer featured on the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo menu at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It was replaced with Sweet Puffer Pig Ribs with Portion Bread, which was served with a side of macaroni and cheese.[8][9]
