The Red Nebula was located in Wild Space in grid square G-21 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Red Nebula was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying boxed set.[2] The nebula originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the fiftieth issue of Marvel Comics' 1977 Star Wars comic book series. The issue was written by Archie Goodwin, pencilled by Al Williamson,[3] and published on May 19, 1981.[4]
