A railgun or rail gun was a weapon which shot projectiles.[1] The starship Vengeful Goddess was armed with rail guns among other weapons.[2] In Hivebase-1, one of the many Tarkin Initiative prototypes included a Wookiee with a railgun for a head, which the archaeologist Chelli Lona Aphra called exquisite.[1] The Imperial IGV-55 surveillance vessel Enduring Pride was modified to carry railguns, and used them for an orbital strike on Milvayne during the Galactic Civil War.[3]
