The Nuvar system was a star system in the Dustig sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] that contained at least two planets. The second planet of the Nuvar system had a moon that was orbited by a defense station. The station was captured from the New Republic by the Galactic Empire, and Imperial cadets were sent as its crew. Following the Battle of Endor, the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier Exigent, dispatched on a scouting mission in the system, was attacked by the defense station, which had missile targeting systems still set to fire on Imperial vessels.[2]
