Nectar was a substance which members of the Ikopi species used their long tongues to slurp up and drink.[1] Consuming to much of the brula fruit's nectar resulted in "swamp madness."[2]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, nectar was first mentioned in the 2015 reference book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know.[1] It first appeared in the 2017 young-adult novel Leia, Princess of Alderaan, written by Claudia Gray.[3]
