Lydia Kang is an author who has written several works in the Star Wars canon. Kang's first work as a Star Wars author came in 2020 when she wrote the short story "Right-Hand Man," one of the stories included in the anthology book From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.[2] Kang has also been involved with the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project by authoring the 2023 novel The High Republic: Cataclysm [3], the short story "The Call of Coruscant," which was published in the anthology book The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life, and the short stories The High Republic: Tales from the Occlusion Zone published in Star Wars Insider.
