The Grand Arena,[4] or simply the Arena,[1] was a venue on the planet Vespaara which hosted the Hunters of the Outer Rim tournament. During the New Republic Era, it featured grand gladiatorial arenas that were surrounded by audience stands and could be altered to resemble locales throughout the galaxy, such as Hoth during the battle there[5] in 3 ABY.[6]
Behind the scenes
The Grand Arena is the setting of the[7] 2024[8] competitive combat game Star Wars: Hunters, published by Zynga and Lucasfilm Games.[7] Artist Clint Young was responsible for the location's early concept visualizations.[9]
