- "What should my comm sign be? Oh, I know. Jedi Two checking in."
- ―Neel
Throughout the galaxy, individuals such as pilots used callsigns,[2] also known as a call sign,[3] or comm signs,[1] to identify themselves as a means of saving time in communication and avoiding confusion. Red Leader was an example of a callsign,[2] as were Blade Leader,[4] Victor Two, and Victor Three.[5]
