Guess who didn't pass out during Tae Kwon Do -again! So last night I had half a cup of pasta with some cheese (carbs and protein). It's been forever since I've had pasta, I forgot how much I love it lol. I'm pretty sure I had a lowfat muffin too, but I can't really remember... I also did an hour on my mum's ski machine (340 cals? somewhere around there), 100 crunches and 50 pushups (trying to tone my arms a little more).
This morning I had a banana and a tangerine (my new obsession), about twenty minutes before my class. Amazingly I was fine the whole time... Even when Master Chong had us going for about an hour of intense cardio without water. I felt so much more... confident? Not so much energized, I just felt like I could keep going. Thanks to all ya'll who had so much great advice ♥
So, new questions
1) I have a tiny little baking fetish (as in I bake when I'm stressed, or bored, or worried, or... anything), but I never eat any of what I bake -for obvious reasons. Does anybody have any recipes that are actually low cal? Preferably something that can sit in the oven for a long time and make the kitchen nice and warm :P I'd love a recipe for pie filling. I mean it's usualy just fruit or pumpkin, so there has to be a relatively simple alternative to all that sugar that most recipes call for.
2) I remember hearing something about citrus doing something for your metabolism... I just can't remember what. I've recently rediscovered the joy of those little orange things that look like tangerines and only have about 50 calories, and I'm wondering what sort of effects eating them might have. Does citrus help or harm?
3) So my bmi is kind of low right now (around 14.5-15), but I still feel like I've got so much fat on my upper arms and thighs... Basically I'm asking if it's possible to have a low bmi but still have tons of fat, maybe not fat, but flab... It just seems like I'm underestimating my bmi or something...
Thanks ya'll, stay strong!
