"Dream as though you'll live forever".
Hey everyone! :D I just joined this community because, like you guys, I'm crazy in love with my favorite movie Stand By Me. Just every little thing about it is great. From the actors and thier chemistry with the simple but deep story-line to Gordie and Chris' bromantic relationship and Teddy's adorkable glasses and fits of rage.. I love it all:) And this seems to be the only real community dedicated to it.
It just bums me out because this community seems so dead. Is it still active at all? The last thing posted on here was done more than a year ago and I don't know if any body is still out there. But if so and there are still fans who are intrested, I have fanfics to offer and I'm really friendly. I love talking about this movie and writing for it! Seriously, the Stand By Me fandom feels abandoned and being one of the best movies ever made, it deserves to be as lively as it once was.
Actually I have a fic all ready to go which I hope to post up soon.( It does not center on a Mary-Sue BTW. I personally hate those.) But I need a beta who's familiar with the Stand By Me territory before I post it, so if anyone is intrested in helping me, I'd be very much appreciative. ^_^ English is definitely my first language and I've been writing for many years so really I just need a quick once-over, a second opinion, and another persons honesty before I post anything. So if anyone wishes to help, just say so. Hell if anyone in general is still involved in this community, it'd make my day to talk to ya. haha.
