Have been technical lead of operations for 6 years, doing all kinds of fun stuff with Solr, Java and Weblogic mainly.

I have all kinds of battle stories from my past years as on call rotation ops, and as bug fixer developer. :D

I have a knack for search engines, as I believe they are one of the most important technologies in the data driven IT world.

Ansible, Mesos, Docker and general automation/execution of virtually anything is my new obsession.
