This community is for the discussion of, well, That Which Should Not Be Discussed within Middle-Earth -- the world created by JRR Tolkien in books such as The Hobbit, The Lord Of The Rings, The Silmarillion, related addendums, and any movies made thereof. (Mmm...Silmarillion: The Movie...uh, sorry, fangirl moment there.)
What does that mean? What should we talk about? Whatever floats your boat...and horrifies other fans. *G* Squicky pairings, incest, darkfic, rapefic, deathfic, interspecies relationships (beyond the standard vanilla human/elf stuff, of course), evil A/Us and more -- bring your kinks to the table, boys and girls, or ask for more!

- Flaming or calling anyone else "sick" except in fun. The whole point of this community is to discuss and explore taboos like adults. If you can't handle it, get out of the pool and go home.
- Posting fanfic/fanart without full credit, ie. the author's name and e-mail/LJ/website/all of the above. It's just not cool.
- Chan, aka underage porn. Sorry, I hate to put a limit on free speech, but that's the one squick we can get arrested for. Jail is no fun at all. :/
- Post pics by posting link TO the pics. Posting pics themselves is bandwidth-theft.
- Post stories with an LJ-Cut. If you need to know how to do that, ask someone you see doing it.
