Meguro Rockmaykan - Brain Hacker, etc.
Tonight was the Brain Hacker live at Rockmaykan. Lots of fun. Started the day off by taking out the garbage! Woot. Feel the excitement. Putzed around and somehow found something to do to occupy myself between the trash and going to school. Had Japanese class today. We were supposed to have a 2 chapter grammar test, but Nishi sensei apparently changed her mind and we finished off chapter 7 and started on chapter 9. Didn't get very far into it before class was over though. After Japanese we went down to the snack shop and talked about the possibility of our Jijou teacher being pregnant, the fact that none of us actually wanted to go to class, and how long each of us had to kill between classes and whatever we were doing that day. Then Rieko got there and we talked about the World Cup.
Finally we all went upstairs to class. There was no one in the room jijou is in. Cathryn, Summer and I were in there for about 5 minutes before anyone else showed up...and we were a minute or two late as it was. x_X Class was stupid and annoying as per usual. We watched a video on Japanese college life. Followed two people around and showed their day. That was almost as exciting as taking out the garbage. But finally class was over and we got to leave. ^_^
Cathryn and I walked to Harajuku to kill some time together and ended up going to the Oriental Bazaar, The Gap, the Johnny's store, a couple hat places, and got crepes. Very yummy. By that time Cathryn had to catch her train to get to work and I still had about an hour and 15 minutes before doors opened at my live. So I headed for Shinjuku and went to LikeA. I finally realized what came out on Wednesday that made there be such a huge freaking line...Pierrot's last single. Oddly titled, Hello. o_O;; Still don't know why people were coming out with drinks though. I went upstairs and flipped through Shoxx and Cure and ended up getting Cure and H'evn. I'm probably going to get Shoxx later though. There is an absolutely hideous picture of James from Kinarura in Shoxx. x_x But a lovely picture of Jun (plus other good stuff) so I might pick that up too.
On my way back to the station from LikeA, as I was walking past the bank, almost to the intersection, I was checking my iPod to find out which Mucc song was playing and when I looked up, I saw...Teruki. Startling. Wasn't expecting that one. At first I thought maybe it wasn't him, but it looked a whole lot like him, and then we got closer and it was definitely him. Big fun. I made it to the station without any other random sightings, but got to plow over one of the restaurant hawkers when he walked right in front of me to get to two girls walking the other direction. He stepped in front of me, I jerked back, and then kept going and quite intentionally crashed into him with my shoulder and shoved. It was a wonderfully satisfying feeling when he stumbled and I heard the girls giggle. I'm mean and vindictive, what can I say.
I got to Meguro and headed for the livehouse. ( Collapse )
Anyway, when they were done with the encore, we went back to our seats and I thought about filling out the anquette so I could get another stamp, but I realized it's pointless since A. there's no way I can fill up the card and B. even if I did fill up the card I won't be here long enough to use the reward. So I opted not to do that. Dawn and I started to leave and got back by the door when I realized I wanted to comb my hair before we left since I had been headbanging and my hair was probably kinda scary. So I did that and then we left. We both had the same idea when we got outside and took pictures of the Brain Hacker poster that was hanging up outside. So now I have a picture of Seiji in the new outfit and Yossy looking not ugly. ^_^
We went to the train station, got on the Yamanote, and made it home. We started rice when we got home and a bit later went down and had meat and rice again and watched some tv. Watched Queer Eye and The Swan. When the Swan was over we came upstairs and now I can finally go to bed 'cause I'm done with my live report! Yay!! I'm so excited. ^_^ So tired I can barely keep my eyes open. So I'm going to go to sleep now. G'night all!
