Out of Time Panfandom at Insane Journal

It’s a quiet little valley, surrounded by immense peaks on all sides. There’s a sleepy village, a small lake, and a smattering of forest. It’s so quiet at night, you can hear the wolves call in the dark. It’s a small civilization, which survived the pass of time relatively unscathed. The air is fresh and clean, cool in the evening, warming up as the sun passes between the kiss of mountain crests into the window of open sky.

It all seems rustic and mundane, safe. Mundane, that is, except for the small automatons that run the supermarket and diner, or the lack of what one might call a population. It’s almost too quiet. But you’re here now, plucked from your life, and dropped into a very pleasant bed where you wake up, without any recollection of what happened between the last time you were awake and now.

Just what are you going to do about it?

It's the year 2016 and the world has literally gone to hell which all started after the unknown outbreak of the Croatoan virus but as if that wasn't bad enough after the infected were killed their corpses reanimated turning them into Walkers. All military operations were overrun within the first month and not just by the diseased.

With the numbers of survivors dropping rapidly every single day and ammo, food and shelter becoming scarce the world is becoming an increasingly difficult place to live in. These are desperate times and those who are still alive are willing to do anything to stay that way.

The Death Weapon Meister Academy
Info Logs Network OOC Apply! Rules Taken About Hold/Drop Job/Local Contact	In the scorching desert of Nevada lies a city in which a academy is located called the Death Weapon Meister Academy for students who are talented enough to have the ability to take care of corrupted souls called Kishin. Their mission is to make themselves powerful and for the Meisters to make their weapons into Death Scythes for Death's own personal use. The city is dark and gloomy in appearance, a pile of various identical-looking buildings with white walls and red roofs in the middle of the deserts of Nevada, with the buildings resembling those of European origin from the 1800's. However, seeing the city from within it, it is actually a rather lively city rich in atmosphere and culture. The cobbled streets are long and winding and often maze-like, with lots of stairs, twists and turns. Right at the top of the 'pile' of buildings is the Death Weapon Meister Academy. A single long highway leads out of the city. Its appearance also seems to resemble the settings seen in Tim Burton and David Lynch films. Unlike the real world, The Sun and The Moon that appear over the city (and in the rest of the world in fact) have faces and can usually be seen grinning or chuckling. Overall, it is a strange-looking city. The businesses in Death City tend to have supernatural themes and where a lot of people make their homes. This game is a panfandom that is located in Nevada, it's a city/school game based on the anime Soul Eater but it does not follow the story! We welcome all fandoms.

Angels, Djinn, Arachne...Oh my! The Winchesters are back to battle all sorts of different enemies. From changelings, to djinn. From Arachne to Leviathan. From Rakshasas to Reapers and anything else you can think of! Signs of the apocalypse are all around, but there are still other creatures of the night (or day) to battle. The Winchester brothers had done everything in their power to stop the Apocalypse from happening, but Hell and Heaven aren't going to give up that easy. It was written that the Apocalypse would take place, and two mortal men certainly would not stand in its way. The signs are starting, from dark skies to black rain. Terrible things have started happening, and it seems that they've only been happening in one place; Chicago, Illinois. Demons and monsters seem to spawn out of thin air, from vampires, to werewolves, to shapeshifters, and it's almost impossible to keep the streets safe. But, of course, impossible is something that Sam and Dean, along with all of their allies, have never understood. There's a first time for everything, though. The dead seem to be rising, people from the past who have been dragged to Hell or released into Purgatory are now walking the streets of Chicago as if nothing had happened, with no memories of their journey into the afterlife. It all needs to stop before Heaven and Hell take over the Earth. The Winchester brothers have already stopped it once, what are the chances that it could happen again? Highway to Hell is a multi-fandom RPG. We are open to experienced players of all shapes and sizes, with whatever fandom they please. You do not have to watch Supernatural to play this game! Night World, Anita Blake, Original Games & More

In a nutshell Mind Blast is a place where you can join several different RPGs at once. One application will give you access to all the Games hosted at Mind Blast, and any future Games that are added. Mind Blast is designed to be fun, and light weight yet also keeping a high level of writing and character development. Why join us? A friendly OOC community, great RP, several different types of Games in one place and members can add new Games. We also only accept original characters in all our Games, even those based on fandoms.

Our Current Games

Celestial Illusions
An Anita Blake style RPG set in the city of Las Vegas. The Master of the City went mad, and as a result an execution was sanctioned. There is now a new Master of the City, however, the switch over of power is not going smoothly though and the city's preternatural community is splitting. Those loyal to the old Master believe that there was foul play and are trying to prove that the new Master, an old friend of the former Master is responsible.

Welcome to Las Vegas, a City where everything could change on the toss of a coin.

Dark Pretenses
The University of Reading, UK, is home to many students and not all of them are human. A safe haven for supernaturals, the death of several members of their community has rocked their world. Have hunters entered the area or is something more sinister at foot?

Studying, partying, magic and vampires - just a normal University.. right?

Stonehythe
The world of Azzaria has been at war for centuries, all because of a mysterious stone that was stolen by an Elf. The stone has become an item of myth to many, however, there are some who never gave up hope of finding it to gain power, restore peace or simply study it. When the stone resurfaces in Stonehythe after centuries all the races of Azzaria race to find out if the sighting is real.

Azzaria is in a time of great change. Whether it is for the better or the worst, that is yours to decide.

Clan Tempest
Based loosely in L.J.Smith's Night World, the Tempests are a unique species created out of a series of events that began with one woman's search for immortality. She sacrified her two children, Layla and Hakeem, and although her spell failed it changed them into something new; a Tempest. With the ability to control an element, to shapeshift into an animal and a bird, and mind powers, they are a combination of all three of the Night World species.

Join the Game as one of these unique Tempests, one of those that hunt them or as a regular Night Worlder.
