I was born and raised in the village of Hawkhurst in Kent, UK. Since school I've worked for a couple of years in a hotel in the Scottish Highlands, a couple of years at a Christian Holiday and Conference Centre in North Devon, UK and since 1998 for the DWP (Social Security) in Leeds, Yorkshire. I was married in 1999 and have two sons (one of whom is high-functioning autistic). I got divorced in May 2004 and now live in Wakefield, where my sons come and stay over at weekends and during school holidays.

My main interests are:

~ listening to music (of all kinds);
~ playing viola in the Sinfonia of Leeds;
~ watching movies (see my DVD List)

~ seeking the spiritual dimension of life
~ spending time with my two sons, M and J
