Spinning the Deep

NEWS: Since December 2025 Spinning the Deep runs on Radio Sylvia from Hamburg (german language), on Lahmacun Radio from Budapest (english language) and since February 2026 on The Face Radio from Brooklyn /NYC (English language). I’m so grateful, that my show gains appreciation at radio stations, too. :-)))

What lurks at you every third friday monthly at 10 p.m.?

Spinning the Deep is about slow, deep, heavy music of bands through nearly six decades. Tracks that drag you down and (maybe) eventually lift you up, smash you and give a hand to you to get up again. It’s a space to drift, to sink in, and to disappear for a while.

New episodes drop monthly. Spoken in German and English.

NEUIGKEITEN: Seit Dezember 2025 läuft Spinning the Deep auf Radio Sylvia aus Hamburg (deutschsprachig), auf Lahmacun Radio aus Budapest (englischsprachig) und seit Februar 2026 auf The Face Radio aus Brooklyn/New York (englischsprachig). Ich bin so dankbar, dass meine Sendung auch bei Radiosendern Anklang findet. :-)))

Was erwartet Euch immer am dritten Freitag im Monat um 22 Uhr mit Spinning the Deep?

Ich werde Tracks spielen von Bands aus, na, ca. 60 Jahren: melancholisches Zeug, abgrundtiefen dunklen Stuff, Songs, die uns bewegen, uns zerschmettern, uns eine Hand reichen, um wieder aufzustehen… die mich jedenfalls nicht kalt lassen…

Neue Folgen monatlich. Moderiert auf Deutsch und auf Englisch.

Who is Spinning the Deep?
