Spider Riders

See the previous post for saner pairings. I couldn't resist making these to go with them.

Since I'm in a creative mood (and an updating one, obviously,) I felt like making some colorbars to share. I only did a couple, but I'm open to requests for others.

Quite a while back, I put out an inquiry on whether anyone here would be interested in fic/art contests. Since I only got one reply, I took the hint and dropped the idea. 

Still, I know we're a small bunch, but there has to be some writers/artists other than me in this comm. I was thinking, now, that maybe we could hold a fanwork exchange. I've seen them around on other comms, and they looked fun. Basically (and I'll make a proper form before then) each member will request what they want/don't want, as well as what they'd be willing to make. Then, everyone would be assigned someone else's request and we'd all get something nice in the end. So, would anyone like to participate?

Okay. More posting in order to rise my poor dying community from the grave.
I was inspired to borrow some ideas from iconfiend100
to create a batch of SR icons. Of course, I totally fail at their challenges, because I don't have the inspiration to make up the 50 Artists Choice themes. It'd be easier if they just had 100 themes. But anyway, enough complaining.

I made these a while ago, but it dawned on me recently that they'd be useful for LJ userinfos/colorbar pages/etc. Therefore, I created some little support bars for some pairings, and just have the individual character sprites too.


-Crediting isn't necessary, though linking to my journal would be nice.
-I've made all sorts of ships, both canon-plausible and cracky, but if you have any requests of things I missed, ask away and I'll see what I can do.

In my random contemplations, I've been thinking about making a Spider Riders rating community (you know, the kind where you answer questions and are stamped as a character.) Of course, if nobody plans to join then it's an utterly pointless idea. So, would anyone be interested in one?

Meh, I think I have a life. Just very warped priorities within it. 

To make my case even worse, however, I've claimed the Buguese/Aqune pairing I adore so much for

ship_manifesto, and have completed my essay.

Shameless promotion here, and sorry for scaring anyone who has a problem with this pairing.

 

Okay, so this community is kinda dead, and I partially blame it on myself being a lazy mod and not contributing enough to it. 

Out of curiosity, if I were to hold some kind of contest here (ie: fanart, fanfic, icon making) would there be any interest in participating? I'm not even quite sure what yet, but I wouldn't mind having prizes as well. Any suggestions would be great, but I figure there'd be no point in holding a contest if nobody wanted to enter.

I had posted the other Japanese OPs and EDs up for download a while ago and have finally gotten my hands on the 2nd ED. Here it is.

Also, I've been writing quite a bit of fanfiction, which I was reluctant to post here, because it exists among my terrible fics that I worte when I was a 13-year-old fanbrat. Maybe I should take those down. Anyway, they're available here.

Edit: I was also thinking of modifying the interests here. If you know anything that you think should be added (such as additional characters, popular shippings, or anything else at all) suggestions are welcome.
