Spencers

I've worked at store 390, district 30 (Johnson City, TN) for about a year now.
my main rant for right now is this : only getting 9 hours a week.

anyone else here from district 30?

Hey guys, I'm new to this community. I'm from store 670 (Fair Oaks Mall, Indiana) I've been at the store for about five months now, and am facing promotion from Sales Associate to Sales Supervisor. I have the intervew for that tomorrow.

Anyone have any advice?

hello! I was just given a position as Store Manager at the Eastgate Mall (Cincinnati, Ohio) store. Haven't started yet. I have worked as a Store Manager for Spirit Halloween for the last couple of years, so I KINDA get it.

Any helpful hints or advice?

jekkers we failed a test we go a f**king 38 that's bad, we always are so nice to cutomers as they walk in or whatever we always Greet them, i don't understand.

Our manager think it might have been a day when he wasn't in and one of the Girls (manager or Asst) were leaving and didn't really care anymore, he was pissed when she saw that score.

O and i stocked today i had so much fun. :-D

This community is dead as all hell. Has anyone ever noticed that the store is called "Spencer Gifts" Not "Spencers Gifts" ? There have to be more than 14 people who work at a Spencers that have a livejournal.

I used to work at Beaver Valley [store 088] in Pennsylvania, but I recently tranfered to Spencer's at Parkway Plaza in El Cajon [which is near San Diego]

I've worked at Stratford(806) and Spring Hill(581). Halloween is up and going. Whats everyones favorite costumes this year ?

I have to retrain or whatever but i don't care... actually i never finished, lol. Cause at the time i was only seasonal,he told me i wasn't so lets just hope i'm not. :-D

so I worked at pacific sunwear for almost three years. not once did I forget to poll when closing. I've worked at spencer's for almost two months now, and I've forgotten to poll twice now.

not to mention that I was a half hour late today thanks to my no-good alarm clock. nothing like showing up at 10:30 when you have to teach one of the other supervisors how to open the store. horray.

clearly, I am the rock star at store 2061.

can I just say that the "meet the fuckers" shirt is probably one of the greatest things I've ever seen? since we've had them arrive in my store, we've sold out. twice.
