Thought it might make a good topic for discussion. Yule presents. I'm in the habit of making most of mine and I was curious if anyone else out there might do the same and have some good ideas for the group.
Things I make/have made for Yule:
Small alter wreaths
Clay candle holders
Etched glass candle holders (they have that cool liquid for etching out)
embroidered alter cloths. (one year I made one for a good friend that had a pentacle in the center and his craft name on the sides in the corresponding element colors)
Candles
ritual soaps
Journals
spell boxes
Witch's ball
spell kits for newbie friends
Anyone else got any ideas?
One of my closest Wiccan friends mother passed away today. We have a very large goup of friends and we have been trying to come up with a way to show her we care. I am her only other Wiccan friend so I was wondering if you all could help me out with creating a gift that all of her friends can participate in that has Wiccan ties but is not overaly Wiccan so the friends who are not so supportave can still feel comfortable participating in the gift. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Brook
I made a scrying mirror today.
I had a picture frame laying around and decided it was time that it made itself useful. I painted the back of the glass black and I think I am going to spraypaint the actual frame black too.
Anyway, that was my latest ten minute three dollar project.

My name is Mary J. Cameron. I'm the vice president of the Spiritual and Pagan Student Alliance of Indiana-Purdue Universities of Fort Wayne (Dun worry, we go by the SPSA for short, or Spaz when on campus, lmao). I've been a pagan... well, as long as I've been around, lol. I was raised to be a 7th Day Adventist, but it wasn't my path. When I hit college, I found the (then) Pagan Student Alliance and clung on tightly and have since embraced a very eclectic path, lol.
Our organiza are hoping to have a booth at this fall's Spirit Fayre in Fort Wayne and are looking for some craft ideas for a fundraiser.
Personally, I've been hording bottles and jars to make candles, containers, etc... and we have a young lady making bookmarks that have pagan symbols on it (her ability to cross stitch amazes me).
Does anyone have any suggestions that might help a buncha poor college students have a fundraiser using crafts?
Any help would be mucho appreciated. :-D
Hello everyone. I'm new but I thought I would just pop in and say Hi. I've been pagan for some time but I don't really make stuff for religious purposes all that much. Though right now I am weaving an alter cloth... That's about it.
Just here to see what everyone else is up to. ^_^

Hey, just dropping a line to say I joined. I am trying to get back into making stuff after a long time not doing anything at all creative, and I think that's why I have been sort of apathetic lately. Today I finally decided to start an art project that I have been meaning to do. I wanted to make either a pig or a goat figurine as totem image. I already have most of the goat shape made out of tape an newspaper, and the next step will be tearing up strips of newspaper and sticking them on with diluted white glue. I was in the book store the other day I found a book on paper crafts, and looked in there to see what they used for glue. Actually, I never liked mixing flour and water, it spoils really fast if you don't use it up, and it just seems really gross to me for some reason, although it never seemed like that to me before. I have yet to figure out what portion of glue to water I need to use, so for the time being I am going to wing it. I can't wait to get started in on making things again. Anyhow, just wanted to say hi.
