"Sailormoon Mirai" is a fanfic written by Laurel (Sailorhathor) at Sailorhathor at gmail dot com. It is a sequel series to Sailormoon Dark and the Sailormoon Dark Movie. It will not be written until the Dark series is done, although I definitely have ideas for it already. If you have any questions about Mirai, please email them to me at the email address above or by clicking the Email link to the left. I'm not sure I have any Mirai-specific questions to answer just yet. But I do have one item I would like to explain. 1). How did you decide to call this series Sailormoon Mirai? When I started "Sailormoon Dark" and began to plan "Sailormoon Mirai," there was an extremely popular fanfic series out called "Sailormoon Neo." It was about Chibiusa and her senshi team in Crystal Tokyo, most of them being the children of the original senshi. I didn't want my idea to have the exact same name as this other series, so I looked for a Japanese word that would fit. I found Mirai, which means future. It worked for my purposes. Since then, I have realized that because "Neo" is used for "Neo Queen Serenity," it really is the best term for a future senshi team. But I don't feel like I can change the title of my series now, after all these years. I'm sure there will be more here later.

Everytime I imagine the opening to "Sailormoon Mirai," it is to the tune of this song, so it's a natural that it would become my fanfic's theme. "Sailor Team no Theme" from the Sailormoon Soundtrack || 564kb || Lyrics || A central theme for the series. Background music for battles and such. Episodic Songs: "The Heart of the Matter" performed by Don Henley || 773kb || Lyrics || Sailorsun's song for when she finally comes to terms with the fact that Mamoru/Prince Endymion doesn't love her anymore. Image Songs and Character Theme Music: "Black Hole Sun" performed by Soundgarden || 927kb || Lyrics || Sailormiraisun's Image Song. She feels there are many people who haven't treated her mother the way she deserves to be treated and she's pretty mad and bitter about it. If there are any more songs that come to me as good songs for this Soundtrack, they will be added here.

Once the Earth is awakened from its long, still sleep, budding romances also awaken, and Crystal Tokyo is populated with new, future senshi. The children of the original senshi rise to fight any evil that threatens the Earth. But an unfamiliar, old-fashioned sailing ship called The Flying Dutchman appears in the harbor one day, and its only living (?) occupant proves to be more powerful than anyone anticipated, as she punctures the security of Crystal Tokyo and steals items that could destroy the world. But is that her real goal? And is this the famous cursed ghost ship, the real Flying Dutchman? The situation becomes more desperate as the power of Chaos is revived. Could the mysterious Wheel in the Sky be the only thing that can save the world? There isn't much here yet because Sailormoon Mirai, the sequel to Sailormoon Dark, will not be written until SMD is finished. The term "Wheel in the Sky" comes from the Journey song of the same name; the song inspired me! ^_^
