Been a hot minute since I posted anything here. In part, because there hasn't been much to say; not been making much progress on writing or art at the moment, and not been in a great place, mentally. HOWEVER, I have accomplished some sewing, so, may I present what I've dubbed the Mountie Coat, inspired by Fraser's very nice peacoat, shown here:

I've wanted a coat like his for roughly 20 years now, since I first watched the show, so, since I've got nothing better to do right now, I decided to Do Something About That and make myself a coat!

Thanks! :D I'm planning to get some better photos of it outside, being worn and looking spiffy, so as soon as I manage to do that, maybe I'll share it on the noticeboard. (Haven't done it just yet because I somehow managed to do Something Bad to one of my knees while working on this project and there are a lot of stairs between me and more photogenic outdoor spaces at the moment.)

Oh good! This is awesome and your skills deserve appreciation. ♥

Also I hope your knee feels better soon! I managed to do something bad to one of my knees last year, right as lockdown started, and it took it probably 3 months or so to get better. Definitely stay off it as much as you can!
